He said something like, "Antonioni made two masterpieces: La Notte and Blow-Up; you don't have to bother with the rest".

Now, obviously that's not true, what with The Passenger being a great film (did Bergman even see it? Probably not).

Adam, I think what I'll do is I'll watch L'Avventura first, and then La Notte, and if I deem it huge enough to write something on it, I'll see if I can get it done in the next 30 days. After all, I HAVE been running out of topics, lol.Adam Zanziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14524618281515322239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8545661733980837263.post-86667578066999397252009-11-17T15:58:33.914-08:002009-11-17T15:58:33.914-08:00I haven't seen either of those. Of those, "La Notte" was by far my favorite. I look forward to reading your thoughts when you do watch it.

-Adam

P.S. I...Sydney! Didn't know you had a blog on here.

I saw Don't Look Now last year, and it really threw me for a loop. Even though the ending really creeped me out, I wasn't sure what to think of the film as a whole. I'm wondering if maybe I need to see more of Nicholas Roeg's films... people have recommended that I see The Man Who Fell to Earth with David Bowie, or Bad Timing with Art Garfunkel. Either way, Don't Look Now is certainly a film I'll need to revisit someday.Adam Zanziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14524618281515322239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8545661733980837263.post-7544371247170980742009-11-11T09:18:52.174-08:002009-11-11T09:18:52.174-08:00Adam, thanks for the recommendation!
